Two Duds in a Row...
63Think before you act Dan.
So because of my love of scary movies I have this problem where I will go to see any scary movie that is out in the theater if it looks remotely interesting to me. Recently I had the unpleasant experience of going to see two duds in a row..The Devil Inside and The Lady in Black. First we will discuss the Lady in Black. I chose the picture above of the lovely Dan Radcliff because he looks pensive as if he is thinking back "Why did I make that awful movie?" I will try not to spoil the movie for those of you that still want to watch it, but truthfully I don't know how I could cause I don't remember what the heck happened other than Dan Radcliff being in a very dark house and my husband and I commenting that it would be a great time for Harry to take out his wand and say Alohamora and shed some light on the situation. And then we giggled. We had to make our own fun because like the dreary landscape of the film so was the story. It was so dull and predictable that I couldn't even tell you what happened in the movie and it's just disappointing to me because the previews made it look like an old fashioned supernatural ghost story. It was just boring and I hope to see better things from the Harry Potter alumni.
The second dud that we went to see was The Devil Inside..or as my husband called the movie Click Click Click. I don't know why but when he saw the preview he thought that's what the movie was called so that's what we continued to call it. So I found the Devil Inside to be quite predictable but I was thoroughly entertained throughout the whole film. It had lots of good scares and spoiler alert here is what makes this movie incredibly frustrating and a dud instead of a good scary film. I'm sorry to spoil it so if you don't want to know stop reading but the daughter who is investigating her mother's possession and the crew that is helping her, they end up getting into trouble and the daughter herself gets possessed. So as we are in the audience watching the movie and watching the daughter in the car with her crew the man driving the car suddenly takes off his seat belt and crashes the car. There is some random text on the movie screen about visiting a website for more answers and blah blah that's the end of the movie. So I know not every movie is going to end the way that I want it to but with this movie it was supposed to be all about the mother's possession and it just ended. It was honestly like the movie was half way over. So I was entertained until that point, the movie was scary, and if your temper can handle it it's worth a watch.

I hope that Daniel is able to get some better parts in movies.
I think Daniel shoul do something with his wild eyebrows!

Well I agree about "The Devil Inside" but not "The Woman in Black". I actually really enjoyed it, mostly because I felt it did have legitimate scares. Though to be fair I too had to point out there were several plot holes, and the dialogue was bad, but I think that was the point, it's made to be a bad film (much like Tim Burton's "Sleepy Hollow") this doesn't make it a good film but I think some might find it enjoyable. This is your opinion and you certainly feel strongly about it and that's all that matters. Keep up the great work, voted Up, Useful, and Interesting. (P.S. I would be lying if I didn't say that imagining what the film would be like with Harry Potter references in "The Woman in Black" was absolutely hilarious).
